Financing of the prom is provided by the parents of graduates without attracting budgetary funds from the city of Moscow. Fundraising for the prom is carried out by the parent committee.
Remember that the only mandatory part of the graduation ceremony is the presentation of certificates and medals. Everything else (gifts for teachers, video filming, photo album, banquet, concert, etc.) takes place at the request of graduates and their parents.
The graduate has the right to refuse to attend the ceremonial part of the graduation without giving reasons.
Two to three months before prom The Moscow government issues a decree on holding festive events to mark the end of the school year.
It indicates the time until which graduation can take place in educational institutions and designates the place where the formal part of the graduation ceremony will be officially held in the capital (since 2013, the venue has become the Central Park of Culture and Leisure named after M. Gorky). The organization of such a graduation is carried out by the Moscow Department of Culture.
